Astonishing New Zealand - Part 2

Day 05 was start with a hectic morning. We had a super early flight schedule to Queenstown (around 07AM) and made us have to depart around 05AM from Hotel. Last night after a super yummy dinner, me and my room mate were collapse, forgot to ask for wake up call and set alarm wrongly! So, at 05AM one of my colleagues called our room and ask us to get our bu*t down to the lobby because we have a flight to catch! Super panic made me just grab my things and put all in my suitcase, wash my face, brushed my tooth, put on a jacket and voila it took only 5minutes and we both ready to go to Airport.

A bit sad for me to leave north island, yet i was so thrilled to see the beauty of south island. From above, few minutes before landing in Queenstown, i saw a stunning view of green hills all over, BEAUTY! Queenstown has a small airport, we spent less than 30mins to take our luggages and meet up with the driver who will escort us wandering around the city. It's only 10AM yet, the first stop is Winery! We took a winery tour and of course wine tasting at Gibbston Valley Winery. It was the fist time i went to a winery and i love it! Though i'm not an alcohol drinker, i love just to walk around the vineyard. Aside winery, Gibbston Valley also have a cheese factory and we can taste those tasty cheese for free! Love it.

We spent about an hour in the winery and brought back few boxes of wines and cheese *grin*. The trip continued with visit to Kawarau Bungee site and a simple stroll in Arrowtown. Few of my colleagues were tempted to jump off from the bridge (read: bungee jumping)! And although i was tempted, but my heart didn't let me jump *alasan*. Since it might took a quite long time, yet limited breakfast made us hungry already, so we choose heading to the city center to grab something to eat. We had a simple 3 (read: not enough) course lunch at Tatler which located in Queenstown's famous area "The Mall".

"Curiosity kills cat". Since we don't want to kill any cats, so we go back to Kawarau Bungee site to jump off the bridge. 3 of my colleagues did it. I looked cool, but then again, my heart won't let me do it :p Finish with the bungee jump, the driver took us to Bob's hill for dinner, well actually a dinner show, because we watched the Haka show before dinner. The show it self quite similar with the one in Rotorua, but it's in a shorter duration. We also got the chance to take some photos with the performer (one of 'em is cute). And for the dinner? what else can I say, it's buffet, filled with yummy foods *yiiihaaa*
The Kawarau river
Finish with the show and dinner, it's time to go to hotel and get some rest before exciting day tomorrow, day for Milford Sound! Since the driver already finish his work by drop us at the restaurant, so we go to hotel by taxi. It was a rainy night on end of March in Queenstown, which means cold weather. The hotel we stayed in gave us a bottle of wine in each room as a complimentary, and guess what 3 of my colleagues drank 2 bottles on that night! LOL, again, another great night sleep.

Day06! Milford Sound day... hurrraayy... I'll write this on the 3rd part of my journey, so if you curious with it, wait up, i shall spread the beauty of it soon!
